We are making some fundamental changes to the match. Rather than having 9 stages each day we will have approx. 16 stages in use all the time. This will allow us to accept many more shooters. This being the Nordic Championship we had the problem that some countries has not registered any shooters eligible for their country team by the time the match was overbooked. Clearly that is not ideal. This change has allowed us to increase the number of shooters from 120 to 180.

If you find that this change introduces conditions which you cannot accept, please cancel your registration and send an e-mail to the organisers requesting a full refund within two weeks. However, the changes should not be large - a couple of stages less and perhaps 25 rounds less than originally advertised.

ROs please note: We now need almost twice as many ROs as orginally planned. To attract more ROs we have increased the per diem and thrown in free admission to the BBQ Saturday night. Please consider ROing, and alert your friends to our need. ROs should please contact Claus Henneberg.

RO payment

Same compensation now paid to all ROs no matter what their geographical location might be.
For years we have considered the RO payment to be a compensation for those who need to pay for accommodation. As a principle we are against anybody getting "paid" for any of the work they do on a voluntary basis. Should we start that, a large number of people would be eligible for pay. For that reason the compensation has not been available for those who did not need accommodation.
However, it has come to our attention that some ROs are finding it unfair, at the end of the match, to see some people getting money and some not.
As we are very conscious of the fantastic job these ROs do, we do not want any to feel let down. For that reason we have decided to change it, so that all ROs receive the same compensation no matter where they live.

We have reached 122 registered shooters. But please note that it is only those who have paid who counts. We will be continuing to accept registrations. Those people will go on the waiting list. We will give people who have registered, but not paid a few days to get the payment sorted. Then we will start rejecting those registrations, and accept those on the waiting list who have paid. Last year we had more than 25 people registering and not paying. They were warned repeatedly and finally rejected.

So until further notice:

If you have registered, but not paid - pay now.

If you want to register, but think it is full - don't worry register and pay. Even if you pay and don't get in, with the new PayPal registration it is very easy for us to return the money to your card.

As mentioned in the registration details, you must register AND pay in order to be approved for the match. There are still many shooters who have registered but not yet paid. We now have people on the waiting list who have paid.
We will start rejecting shooters 14 days after their registration if they haven’t paid, so that we can give those slots to those on the waiting list who have paid.
